Ventura Riverfront sample and regional hazard guidance
The public walkthrough, PDF, report excerpts and landing previews now use the same validated 64-page October 16 Ventura Riverfront report. It demonstrates mapped levee, liquefaction and tsunami context, high-tide storm-surge scenarios, and separate monitoring histories for two possible water suppliers.
Updated the methodology, source descriptions, FAQs and related evidence guides. Regional mapping is not a parcel investigation or emergency forecast; missing coverage and a no-match remain distinct from zero hazard. Existing scoring methods and weights are unchanged.
Coastal storm-surge and post-fire assessment guidance added
Added NOAA SLOSH and USGS post-fire assessment guides, source descriptions and FAQs. Refreshed the Sonoma walkthrough, public PDF and landing previews to the validated 58-page October 15 report.
Sonoma shows no SLOSH coverage and no published post-fire assessment-area match, not zero hazard. Coastal scenario depths are not annual probabilities or surveyed property depths; dated post-fire basin estimates depend on rainfall conditions and do not map downstream damage. Existing scores and weights are unchanged.
WUI and conditional wildfire intensity documented
Updated the wildfire guide, source descriptions and FAQs to distinguish housing/vegetation setting, annual burn probability and fire intensity conditional on fire. The Sonoma walkthrough, public PDF and landing previews now use the same validated 57-page October 13 report, with readable WUI and flame-length findings.
WUI is census-block context, not parcel fuels. Conditional intensity is not annual likelihood or a building-loss forecast. Source scope and dates remain explicit; unavailable layers are not modeled zeros. The report copy removes processing metadata and preserves practical limitations, with full historical water-monitoring tables in the PDF appendix. Existing scores and weights are unchanged.
UST records and conditional public-water monitoring documented
Added guides for nearby EPA underground storage tank/release records and candidate-system UCMR 5 monitoring. Updated source descriptions, FAQs and the Sonoma sample, PDF and landing previews from the same validated 56-page October 12 report. Scores and weights are unchanged.
Proximity is not contamination. A source-verified water polygon is not a confirmed property supplier; historical analytical records are not tap tests, current safety or compliance. Non-detects remain below-reporting-level results, not zero concentrations.
Regional storm history and hail/tornado footprint guidance added
Added a NOAA storm-history and footprint guide, source descriptions and FAQ answers. Refreshed the Sonoma walkthrough, public PDF and landing previews from the same validated 53-page October 11 report. Its six scores and overall result are unchanged.
Regional records are not property claims; retained polygons are not independent storm counts or proof of building damage. Source periods, partial years and missing coverage remain explicit.
Levee and regional NFIP history guidance added; Sonoma sample refreshed
Added guides and source descriptions for USACE NLD mapped leveed areas and nearby infrastructure, plus aggregated OpenFEMA claim payments and policy records. Updated the Sonoma walkthrough, public PDF and landing previews from the same 52-page October 7 report.
Mapped intersection does not guarantee protection. Regional history is not property loss history or current coverage; small groups are withheld, missing payments are not zero, and the September 8, 2026 snapshot year is partial. Scores and weights are unchanged.
Additional evidence and insurance-conversation guidance documented
Added source, coverage and follow-up guidance for NFIP community participation and CRS, local FEMA community-boundary matching, nearby USACE dam inventory, USGS karst geology, modeled local Vs30 and historical EPA county radon potential. Published focused community, dam, karst and radon guides and clarified reference-site versus local modeled ground conditions.
These additional evidence panels do not change current risk scores or determine insurance eligibility, premiums or coverage. Missing and ambiguous jurisdiction is not nonparticipation; proximity is not downstream exposure; geological mapping is not a foundation assessment; county radon zones do not replace building testing.
Modeled wildfire and earthquake ground-motion methodology added
Updated report and public methodology to describe USDA Wildfire Risk to Communities burn probability and risk-to-potential-structures evidence, CAL FIRE Fire Hazard Severity Zones, and USGS National Seismic Hazard Model ground motion. Added coverage and limitation guidance, dedicated wildfire and earthquake guides, and clarified that unavailable sources are excluded rather than interpreted as zero risk.
Public methodology, data-source, and trust guidance added
Published the Methodology & Data Sources page, the source-family table, data-quality FAQ guidance, and this update record. These changes clarify how TrueViewly uses available screening context and where official records or qualified professional review remain necessary.
